BAthing

  • Bathing will be available at the host hotel in vans. 

  • By Appointment Only: To help us keep things running smoothly, please be sure to sign up in advance using the link. Each slot is limited to one groomer and one assistant. 

  • What to Bring: Competitors must bring their own grooming loop, products, and towels.

  • Only One Dog at a Time: Please bring only one dog at a time for bathing and drying. Only dogs entered in the competition may be bathed. 

  • No personal equipment: Personal tables, cages, and dryers are not permitted in the bathing area due to limited space.

  • Clean Up Required: You must clean up after yourself. This includes vacuuming, gathering hair from the tub and disposing, sanitizing the tables with cleaner and wipes provided. 

  • Drying of pets will be first-come at tables set up near vans in covered space. 

  • Indoor prep area will also be available in the holding area.

Holding area

  • Pet holding will be located near the trade show floor and available during competition hours only. 

  • All competing pets must be kept in the designated holding area (or other personal space) when not actively competing.

  • Pets are not permitted in the expo hall or in classrooms at any time. This helps us maintain a safe, organized, and professional environment for everyone.

  • Overnight stays are not permitted in holding.

  • BeachFest Groom Expo is not responsible for any dogs or equipment left in the holding area. 

  • Pet waste must be cleaned up after pottying and disposed properly in waste bins. 

  • Pets must be up to date on all vaccines and in good health.

Competitor Meetings

We will be hosting an in-person competitor meeting to go over final details, answer questions, and make sure everyone is set for the weekend. For those not available to be in-person, we highly encourage you to attend via the zoom link provided below. 

  • Cutthroat Grooming Meeting (Mandatory for participants):
    Thursday at 9:00 PM in Classroom 1
    If you are competing in Cutthroat Grooming, you must be present for this meeting. Please come prepared for pre-competition filming and photography.
